On the first day of the CIS Games, representatives of Uzbekistan won 5 medals
The First CIS Games have started in Kazan (Russian Federation). According to the results of the first day, the representatives of the national team of Uzbekistan won 5 medals.
It is noteworthy that all the medalists are Greco-Roman wrestlers. In particular, Murodjon Alimzhonov (-77 kg) and Mukhammadkadir Rasulov (-82 kg) won silver, Abror Otaboev (-63 kg), Zhamol Zhumaboev (-72 kg) and Temurbek Nasimov (-130 kg) won bronze.
It should be noted that the opening ceremony of the Games will be held today. Yesterday, another part of the delegation of Uzbekistan left for Kazan. We remind you that the delegation is headed by the Secretary General of the NOC Oibek Kassymov.
