The heroes of Tokyo-2020 were awarded with commemorative signs "30 years of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan"

As you know, upon their return to our country, the heroes of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games were awarded high state awards by the respected President of our country. Today they were awarded with commemorative signs “30 years of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan " in connection with our biggest and most expensive holiday. The event was held at the IOC. It was attended by the leadership of the committee headed by Rustam Shoabdurakhmonov, our athletes and their coaches, sports veterans headed by Bahodir Mahsitov.

Opening the event, the head of the IOC once again recalled the victories of our athletes at the Olympic Games and congratulated everyone on the Independence Day. After that, the leadership of the Committee, athletes and coaches were awarded commemorative badges. According to him,,

Champion and record holder of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in weightlifting Akbar Juraev and his coach Farkhod Umrzokov;

Tokyo 2020 champion in Taekwondo WT Ulugbek Rashitov and his coach Pavel Khan;

Bronze medalist of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in freestyle wrestling Bekzod Abdurakhmanov and his coach Muzaffar Abdurakhmanov;

Bronze medalist of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in judo Davlat Bobonov and his coach Nurali Kabulov were awarded commemorative signs “30 years of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

At the end of the event, Bahodir Mahsitov also made a speech about the fact that sport is always in the center of attention of our government, about the work being done to fully support our athletes and coaches, on behalf of the Veterans ' Council, he welcomed the awardees.
