The long-awaited medal from Shokhsanam Toshpulatova
The representative of the Uzbekistan national para-swimming team Shokhsanam Toshpulatova added another medal to the piggy bank of the Uzbek delegation at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. In the 200-meter swim in the complex direction, she was awarded a bronze medal.
In the uncompromising final block, Toshpulatova finished third with a score of 2:27.92 minutes. It should be noted that this was the 3rd medal of a para-athlete, which she won at the Paralympics. At the previous Rio 2016 Games, she also won 2 bronze medals.
We remind you that earlier Shokhsanam Toshpulatova took part in the final of three programs within the framework of Tokyo 2020 and took 4th place twice and 5th place once. Congratulations to the para-athlete, her family and all her fans on such a victory. Thus, the number of medals of our delegation became 15 (5 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze).
