We started our success today with a bronze medal

The next day of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games has also started. In the program of this day, our compatriot Elbek Sultanov brought the first good news.

Sultanov, who participated in the shot put competition in the F12 powerlifting category, won a bronze medal. His result of 15.94 meters, recorded in the first attempt, eventually laid the foundation for his ascent to the podium. It is worth noting that this was a new personal result for Sultanov. The victory was won by the Spaniard Kim Lopez (17.04), who set a world record, and the silver medalist was Ukrainian Roman Danilyuk (16.53).
