Sherzod Namozov will fight for bronze
Our pair-judoka Sherzod Namozov continues to fight for the Tokyo 2020 medal. He managed to decide the consolation fight in his favor.
Namozov managed to defeat Yadamdorj Sukhbatar from Mongolia due to the assessment of ippon. Thus, the Rio 2016 champion is very close to winning a bronze medal. To do this, he needs to win over Alex Bolo from Romania.
Namozov's fight will be the fifth in the final block, which will begin at 12: 00 Tashkent time.
