Two of our girls performed in the final of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics
The participation of Uzbek para-athletes at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics continues. A few minutes ago, two of our girls performed in the final of para-swimming.
In the 100-meter backstroke among women, representatives of Uzbekistan failed to win prizes. Shokhsanam Toshpulatova was fifth (1:08.37 seconds), and Nigora Mirzokhidova was seventh (1:09.85 seconds).
We wish good luck to the rest of our representatives who will take part in the Tokyo Games. We remind you that yesterday the representative of the Uzbekistan national para-swimming team, Islom Aslanov, became the bronze medalist in the 100-meter swim (butterfly).
