Congratulations to the General Secretary of the NOC Oybek Kasymov!
Today, the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee, Oibek Kassymov, celebrates his birthday.
Oybek Omilovich Kasymov was born in 1980 in Tashkent. He graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. After that, Oibek Omilovich connected his life path with sports, during his career he worked as the General Director of the Pakhtakor football club, the General Secretary of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan and the First Deputy Minister of Physical Culture and Sports. Since 2020, Oybek Kassymov continues his activities in the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, as the Secretary General of the organization. He is also the deputy chairman of the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan and the chairman of the tekball Federation of Uzbekistan.
Oibek Omilovich made a significant contribution to the successful participation of our delegation at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. For his services, in particular for the popularization and development of the Olympic Movement, physical culture and sports, he was awarded the order "Dustlik"in 2016.
