Three of our para-swimmers will compete for gold medals

The XVI Summer Paralympic Games have started in Tokyo. As we previously reported, five of our para-swimmers went to the start on the first day.

Muzaffar Tursunkhuzhayev and Islam Asanov took part in the men's 100-meter butterfly, and Shokhsanam Toshpulatova, Nigora Mirzokhidova and Muslima Odilova (category S13) took part in the women's swim in the same direction.

It is noteworthy that according to the results of the selection, Islam Asanov became the first in his group with a score of 26.35 seconds. Another of our representatives took the third place with an indicator of 26.72 seconds. Thus, they won tickets to the final.

Also, among women, Shokhsana Toshpulatova managed to reach the final (30.79 seconds), taking first place. Unfortunately, Nigora Mirzokhidova and Muslima Odilova ended their participation after the selection.

The final stage will begin today at 15: 32 Tashkent time.
