As you know, the champion of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in taekwondo, Ulugbek Rashitov, was awarded the honorary title "Uzbekistan Iftikhori". Rashitov expressed his sincere gratitude to the Head of State for the attention rendered.
"I express my great gratitude to our President for the fact that he devotes a lot of time to the sports sphere. Thanks to his care, all the necessary conditions have been created for us athletes and we have every chance to win at international competitions. It is a great honor for me to be awarded the honorary title "Uzbekistan Iftikhori". With the support of our President, we can achieve any goal.
I will do everything possible to ensure that our flag always rises on the international arena and to please the people of the country with my victories. When we returned to Uzbekistan after the Olympic Games in Tokyo, our compatriots greeted us solemnly. I don't think that athletes from other countries were met in the same way. Many thanks to our government for this. With God's help, I promise to win a gold medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
