The delegation of Uzbekistan made its debut at the Olympic Games in a new sport
At the Tokyo Olympics, the delegation of Uzbekistan made its debut in a new sport. Today, our athlete Alise Fakhrutdinova took part in the qualifying stage of the modern pentathlon.
According to the regulations, fencing competitions among women were held today. Our athlete won 16 fights out of 35 and recorded 196 points on her account. So far, Fakhrutdinova is ranked 22nd. Also, today another of our compatriots will perform — Alexander Savkin, who will fight in the qualifying stage in fencing. We wish success to our pentathletes, who have expanded the geography of Olympic sports in our country, in other programs.
