OPERATIONAL PLAN
for preparing for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics
I. Assigning responsible persons to each federation from previously assigned organizations to provide comprehensive assistance in improving the material and living conditions of athletes and coaches of national teams, monitoring the completeness, quality and timeliness of the execution of work plans and assignments.
II. Implementation of measures to urgently attract leading foreign specialists (coaches, etc.), as well as sparring partners to athletes to improve, improve, and improve the intensity of the training process of members of the national teams of the federations in accordance with the work plan.
III. In order to further modernize the processes of preparation for the Olympic Games, assign coaches and their assistants to athletes, freeing them from other duties.
IV. Together with the authorities (khokimiyats) of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regions of the republic and the city of Tashkent, to provide athletes and coaches with the necessary material support in order to improve their living conditions, adequately encourage their work and encourage them to achieve high sports results in the future.
V. Organize a media center to cover the preparations for Tokyo 2020 and the development of mass sports.
VI. To organize, in order to fulfill the above operational tasks, the headquarters for the preparation for the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020, consisting of the leadership of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, sports federations of Uzbekistan, the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, media representatives, etc., to review the implementation of events and instructions every two weeks.
LONG-TERM PLAN
OF PREPARATION FOR THE Olympic Games–2022-2024-2028
I. Creation of a republican working group consisting of the NOC, the Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Uzbekistan to develop proposals for strengthening the material and technical base, building specialized Olympic training centers, equipping them with modern sports equipment and inventory.
II. Training, retraining and advanced training of coaches and referees.
III. Selection of athletes from among juniors and cadets.
IV. Creation of a sports science (research institute), development of new methods for training athletes and coaches.
V. Improving the medical and pharmacological support of athletes.
VI. Increasing the focus and effectiveness of sports promotion through the media.
VII. Introduction of representatives of our country to the international sports organizations.
