Madinabona Parpieva: "Our state provides us with the best coaches"
As you know, on September 25-26, a fencing tournament "Satellite" (rapier) was held in Tashkent. In this competition, four Uzbek fencers won bronze medals. Among them was Madinabona Parpieva, who climbed to the podium. Below we will share this rapier player's impressions of the tournament:
"In the first fight, because of my mistakes, I had a difficult situation. In the competition with the representative of Kazakhstan, I lagged behind with a score of 9:14. Then I gathered myself and won with a score of 15:14. Considering that I did not train for a long time, this is a good result. In the semifinals, I had a fight with an Italian woman and I must admit that she is really strong and talented. An experienced rapier coach has been brought into our national team. The state provides us with all the necessary opportunities, attracts experienced, foreign specialists and in response to this, we promise to adequately defend the honor of the country," Parpieva said.
