The champion and record holder of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Akbar Juraev, added a second gold medal to the piggy bank of the Uzbek national team. This was a real significant event for Uzbek sports and weightlifting in the country. Our weightlifter managed to update the Olympic record in two directions, as well as to win the title of champion. Each of us was very pleased and inspired by the success of Juraev. Photos from the Hero of the Day award ceremony:
