As part of the next competition day of Tokyo 2020, our Greco-Roman wrestler Zhalgasbai Berdimuratov began his participation. In the first round, his opponent was Karapet Chalyan from Armenia.

Due to his technical advantage and experience, Karapet decided the fight in his favor and reached the quarterfinals. If Chalyan reaches the final, Berdimuratov will retain the opportunity to fight for bronze.
