In connection with the holiday on May 9, an event for veterans was held
Together with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the National Olympic Committee, the Cycling Federation of Uzbekistan organized a festive event with the participation of honorary sports veterans in connection with the Day of Remembrance and Honors, which is widely celebrated on May 9 in our country. During the event, it was told about the life path and achievements of veterans, and that we should appreciate our current life and the fact that we live in peace.
As the sports veterans noted, in order for us to live calmly, safely, and without needing anything, our ancestors gave their lives and died on the battlefield, fighting for freedom. Because of the war, how many families were left without a roof over their heads, how many children lost their mothers and fathers, people lost their relatives and friends.
During the event, at the festive table, the veterans prayed for the health of our President and for the Independence of Uzbekistan to be eternal.
At the end of the event, cycling veterans were awarded badges "Veteran of Sports of Uzbekistan" and memorable gifts.
