Artistic Gymnastics World Cup starts in Tashkent
Tomorrow in the capital will start one of the series of the World Cup in rhythmic gymnastics. Importantly, this competition is one of the 4 stages that will give lisenzion ochko for the Tokyo-2020 Olympic Games.
It is expected that the number of countries planned to participate in it – 33 units, the number of athletes will be approximately 100 people. According to the qualification system of the International Gymnastics Federation, developed for the Olympic Games, at the end of the 4 World Cup stages, which will be held in the near future, trips to the Olympiad in the direction of singles will be played. Tashkent regularly passed the stages of the World Cup. Naturally, the prestige of this year's competition is different from its predecessors. According to the regulation, each country can list 4 athletes in the direction of singles for these 2 stages. In this regard, it is appropriate to say that the honor of our team is protected by Ekaterina Fetisova and Sabina Tashkenbaeva. The stages of the World Cup will be held on the following dates:
1. 26-28 March, Sofia (Bulgaria))
2. April 16-18, Tashkent (Uzbekistan))
3. 7-9 may, Baku (Azerbaijan)
4. 28-30 may, Pesaro (Italy) )
It is worth noting that at the end of the 4 stage, the best 3 gymnast (1 quota per state) who could not be licensed through previous tournaments will become a participant in Tokyo 2020. At the end of the World Cup rating, the second-ranked representatives of the country, who received a ticket through the 2019 World Cup and did not receive a license, are not considered to be a strong triple.
According to the regulation, only qualifying bets will be held on 16-17 April, and final Bets will be held on 18 April in all directions. Tantanali opening ceremony will be held tomorrow at 19: 30 at the gymnastic Palace "Universal"in our capital, which will host the competition.
At the moment, after the end of the tournament in Sofia, Sabina Tashkenbaeva to'qqizinci, Ekaterina Fetisova is on the 16th position. We hope that our gymnasts will further strengthen their place at the Tokyo Olympiad through the Tashkent tournament.
The National Olympiad of Uzbekistan wishes good luck and victories to our gymnast girls.
