Our country will host the next Boxing World Championship

Our delegation, which took part in the Men's Boxing World Championship, which was held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, from October 25 to November 6, returned to Tashkent.

Domestic masters of leather gloves were met at the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov. The event was attended by officials of the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, relatives and fans of our athletes.

Recall that Abdumalik Khalakov won silver at the World Championships, and Madiyar Saidrakhimov won bronze.

At the closing ceremony of the competition, Deputy Chairman of the NOC, First Deputy Chairman of the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan Saken Polatov accepted the flag of the International Boxing Association AIBA as the organizer of the next world championship.

Thus, the 22nd Men's World Championship will be held in Tashkent in 2023.
